According to a Deloitte survey of 1,613 U.S. primary care and specialist physicians, solo practitioners reported a Stage 1 attestation rate of 31 percent, versus 62 percent of mid-size practices and 82 percent of large-sized practices. A recent Harris Interactive survey shows that 82 percent of physicians want patients to be active in their healthcare through electronic health records, but only 31 percent believe patients should have full access to their EHR record.
